Hessel Group and Enhance Training wish to extend our sincere thanks to our wonderful community for 25 years of support. This is for our dedicated team both past and present, our clients from all areas of the business and our families. We have been overwhelmed by well wishes this year and we are grateful.
In 1998 this organisation was created in the loungeroom of Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Tanya Cole as she searched for quality care for her children. Realising the desperate need from families she adapted her sales strategies continuously to suit a changing marketing, Tanya's entrepreneurial talents combined with partnering with like minded people saw the nannySA business grow enabling Tanya to open Enhance Recruitment which later became, Enhance Training a Registered Training Organisation.
2023 has been a year of reflection and celebration and a keen eye for the future with Brad Seaman, Chief Strategic Officer becoming a director of Hessel Group. Systems have been implemented which will support the future growth of the organisation while supporting the business through it's current strategic goals.
We held a celebration at our Welland site where we invited Tim Graham, a Senior Cultural Mentor from Indigenous Training and Recruitment to conduct a Welcome to Country. Tim was joined by his beautiful daughters, Alyssa and Emily and he shared stories all with an underlying message that we belong to the land where our first nations have occupied for 65,000 years.
We then heard from Brad who talked about his attraction to our diverse business with it's opportunity for expansion before passing over to Tanya who walked us through her heart felt and real life journey in business including how she reached some cross roads and how she navigated her way through them. She even had her original butcher's paper notes where she penned some goals both professionally and personally. It's inspiring to see the rawness of these thoughts and to see Tanya reflect on how these goals all became a reality.
Tanya knows that for the majority of the next 25 years, it won't include her but she is proud to know that the foundations of the business are entrenched ensuring a positive and progressive future.
We thank everyone who came to Welland to celebrate, to Teresa Santillo, Chief Operating Officer who along with Brad, Tara Hancock, Marketing Manager and Denise Coronel, Graphic Designer and Marketing Officer for organising the event. We thank Little Italy Delicatessan for catering (a must visit for lunch or a coffee) and to Pasticceria by Orsola for preparing a delicious cake.
