Nikita Completes Her Traineeship

Hessel Group is thrilled to have recently celebrated Nikita's traineeship completion.

Commencing with Hessel Group Training Organisation (GTO) 12 months ago as a business trainee, Nikita was placed with host employer, Hessel Group and has been our reliable and efficient receptionist at our head office in Fullarton ever since.

With previous experience owning a small business and an initial start at university, Nikita applied for a business traineeship that was advertised, received an interview with Hessel Group's recruitment team and was offered a full time traineeship completing her on the job training with Hessel Group as receptionist 4 days a week while studying 1 day per week.

Hessel GTO Field Officer, Bernie Crafter met with Nikita, enrolled her in the Certificate III Business BSB30120 with North East Vocational College (NEVC) and arranged for Apprenticeship Network Provider, MEGT to administer and sign the training contract.

Nikita is at the forefront of the Hessel Group business being the first point of contact for our many phone calls, emails, deliveries and clients visiting our offices every day. She is also responsible for the general operations of Hessel Group's offices and gained her first aid qualification to now be our first aid officer. Not bad for a for year on the tools.

Bernie continued to provide outstanding support for Nikita as well as to her host supervisor at Hessel Group, Brad Seaman to ensure the traineeship progressed efficiently and Nikita thrived. Bernie also had regular communications with Nikita's trainer, Rosalie throughout the course. Rosalie also visited Nikita on site at work for assessments and check ins making traineeships an attractive career starter option due to the support that is provided to all trainees across all industries.

Nikita is now Hessel Group's full time receptionist following the traineeship completion. She has exposure across the entire organisation and has shown interest in learning more about our recruitment processes and helping out the team on a regular basis. Whatever may lay ahead for Nikita, she now has a solid foundation, knowledge, confidence and a qualification. We are proud of Nikita and excited for the future that lays ahead for her.
