As we enter Hessel Group's 25th year in business in South Australia in 2023, we have recently welcomed dynamic and talented new staff members to our team. Let's meet them:
Yolande Hackney, Finance Manager
With a wealth (no pun intended) of international finance experience, Yolande joins Hessel Group as a key member of the executive management team. She is responsible for the financial direction of our organisation and will lead the finance team to support the business in growth and success.
Yolande is an avid learner, keen to understand and develop efficient processes, reporting and discovering meaningful ways to interpret and convey results and create avenues to reach growth targets and increase profitability.
Vida Takpour, Occupational Therapist
As a provider of the NDIS, our Allied Health, Support and Behaviour Support Services team continues to grow and we are so pleased to welcome Vida. Iranian born, Vida is an empathetic and professional therapist with excellent communication skills and able to adapt accordingly to meet the needs of each client.
Vida has 10 years experience in the industry in both a clinical and hospital environment, she enjoys collaborating with professionals and working as a team to ensure the best outcomes for her clients.
Fiona Taban, Course Advisor
Strengthening our customer service offering, Fiona joins the Enhance Training Team as Course Advisor. In this role, she is able to connect with potential students efficiently and understand their career goals, study preferences and the pathways on offer to help get them there. Fiona attends industry events and works with our trainers and administration team to influence and improve processes for positive student experiences. She is passionate about education and brings with her experience in guiding and counselling school students with their studies.
Ambika Baranwal, Assistant Accountant
Joining Finance Manager Yolande, Ambika is building an exciting career in accounting and is bringing to Hessel Group some excellent skills already developed through her study and early career. Ambika has already identified efficiencies we can take advantage of to allow the team to manage and reach the financial goals of all business units. Excited to work as a team to improve business operations, Ambika will search for solutions utilising systems and finding resolutions to improve efficiencies and reporting. As a relationship focused individual, Ambika will build internal and external connections to further develop business improvement outcomes.
Tara Kirk, Administration Support
The newer arm of Hessel Group is Hessel Group Training Organisation (GTO) which hires trainees, places them with host organisations and facilitates their accredited training. Meet Business Trainee, Tara. Enhance Training RTO 40387 is her host employer, MEGT is the Apprenticeship Network Provider and she will be studying to complete her Certificate III in Business (BSB30120) at North East Vocational College. Tara is an energetic young woman who learns very quickly and uses her initiative to improve processes. Already a valued member of the team, we can't wait to see this bright career take off.
