Enhance Training Learner Support Services (LSS) Case Manager, Azadeh Wilson called into the Fresh 92.7 studios to have an on air chat with their awesome Brekkie Crew - Tom, Davo and Callum. Read on below as Azadeh tells us about her experience:
My experience:
Meeting with the Fresh FM team was such a refreshing experience (get it? lol). From the initial engagement to the studio tour and discussions about their projects, I was made to feel comfortable. Having previous experience in radio, I know that hearing oneself on air can bring a lot of anxiety. But the Brekkie team was incredibly supportive and encouraging, helping me understand what to expect and how things would unfold.
What we talked about:
Did you know Learner Support Services (LSS) is an initiative of the Government of South Australia and it is not limited to Enhance Training students? We actually support students from funded Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) across South Australia. LSS provides personalised one-on-one support to students who are facing difficulties in continuing their studies or keeping up with their training.
The aim of Learner Support Services is to ensure you stay on track with your training and successfully complete your studies. LSS Case Managers (like me) provides assistance in various ways, such as helping you address life issues that may hinder your training, offering support to enhance your study skills, connecting you with relevant support services in your community, guiding you through the training system, and providing support even after you finish your studies as you transition to further education or employment.
What this means for you is that you can have meaningful conversations and work closely with a qualified case manager in one-on-one sessions. Your case manager will be there to support you throughout your studies and can also refer you to other service providers who can offer additional support if needed. LSS can even come to you, providing outreach support wherever you require it.
