Funded by the South Australian Government, Learner Support Services is designed to offer individualised case management for students requiring additional help to complete their studies. We are an approved provider of these essential services, which assist in addressing barriers to education and ensure you thrive in your training and during your transition to the workplace.
How Does Learner Support Services Work?
Our dedicated LSS Case Managers work closely with you to assess your strengths, challenges, interests, and goals. Together, we create a support plan tailored to you that aims to overcome any obstacles you may face, whether personal, academic, or related to your future employment.
The objective is to keep you engaged throughout your study period and beyond. We offer support for up to twelve weeks after you’ve completed your qualification. This extended support can make a significant difference in ensuring a successful transition to the workforce.

Access Learner Support Services: Eligibility and Referral Process
To be eligible for LSS, students must be enrolled in a qualification listed on the Subsidised Training List (STL). This includes apprentices, trainees, school-enrolled students undertaking subsidised VET, and fee-for-service students in classes with subsidised students.
Students can be referred to LSS by their training provider, or they can self-refer at any time. If you are finding it difficult to continue your training due to personal or learning challenges, you can request to be connected with an LSS case manager for one-on-one support.

Learner Support Services are not confined to internal use at Enhance Training. They are available across various Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) throughout South Australia. This cooperative spirit means that you can access the support you need no matter where you are undertaking your training.
Continuous Engagement
The support doesn’t end when the training does. We provide ongoing assistance for up to three months after course completion, helping students transition into employment and navigate the challenges of their new roles.
