The opportunity to attain a professional qualification that allows Support Workers to enhance the lives of the people with disabilities or older persons they will be supporting.  The support work includes a variety of tasks in the individual’s home or a facility to allow their clients to live as independently as possible, remain connected to their community, achieve their goals and to maintain quality of life.

To support you to enter this industry, Enhance Training offers training courses that are nationally recognised, provide students with a qualification, up to date industry skills/practices and confidence to become Support Workers of the future. Our trainers are passionate about education, sharing knowledge and industry experience, they offer real examples and are able to support students during their course to interpret information and implement their knowledge in the chosen field.

Enhance Training is proud to provide further guidance as required through our Learner Support Services (LSS) program. This service is funded by the Government of South Australia, our case managers are experienced and qualified to tailor strategies to guide students through life's challenges, study hurdles and time management.

Enhance Training's Certificate III in Individual Support CHC33015 (Disability or Ageing) course can be completed prior to 12months and includes 13 units in total, 6 core and 7 elective units and a 120 hour placement in the industry you have nominated to specialise in. We provide a classroom environment with industry equipment, external online or a mixture of both for our students.

There are also opportunities for students to complete their Certificate III in Individual Support course through a traineeship program, working in the chosen industry (Disability or Ageing) while studying, gaining hands on experience in the workplace environment (no 120-hour placement required) ask us about traineeships.
