To support you to enter this vital industry, Enhance Training offers training courses that are nationally recognised, provide students with qualifications, skills and confidence to become support workers of the future while also creating a path for further learning or CAREER PROGRESSION. Our trainers are all experienced in the industry and many continue to work in the sector too.

Enhance Training's Certificate III in Individual Support CHC33015 (Disability or Ageing) can completed within 12 months and is flexible meaning you can study internally in a class environment, externally online or a mixture of both.

There are traineeship opportunities where you can study and work in the industry allowing you to bring your new skills into the workplace. The organisation you work with will support you with your study and guide you in the working environment too, this is an ideal way to enter a rewarding new career.

Enhance Training's Courses are funded and supported by the Government and for those eligible, the student contribution for the Certificate III in Individual Support can be just $155 and there are no extra fees for resources or other surprise charges making study a valuable career investment. 

Internal courses are located at our Skills Lab in Mile End where students are able to practice their new skills with the equipment used in the industry. This is also a great opportunity to connect with other students about their learning experiences and industry knowledge.

What will your working week look like?

A week in the care and support sector as a support worker can be as busy as you choose. You can work 2 or 3 full days or 2-3 hour shifts per day making it a flexible career option to fit in with your lifestyle. You could be taking a client to the movies one day and the next, supporting clients in a residential setting or their homes.
