In today's fast-paced academic landscape, students can encounter a multitude of challenges that stretch beyond the act of studying. From balancing multiple responsibilities to navigating the complexities of digital distractions, the modern student's study environment is a web of potential obstacles which could include:

1. Time Management: With classes, assignments, extracurricular activities, part-time jobs and personal commitments, students often find themselves juggling various tasks. Properly allocating time for studying becomes a challenge when there are countless pressing demands.
2. Mental Health Concerns: Rising awareness of issues like anxiety, depression and other mental health challenges highlights the unseen barriers many students face. Such concerns can significantly affect concentration and motivation.
3. Digital Distractions: The digital age brings a double-edged sword. While technology provides invaluable resources for studying, it also introduces an array of distractions. Social media notifications, enticing apps and the rabbit hole of the internet can easily side-track a study session.
4. Information Overload: The vast amount of information available can be overwhelming. Students often struggle to discern what's crucial, leading to difficulties in prioritising their study material.
5. Procrastination: The age-old foe of every student. Whether due to fear of a challenging topic or the lure of more enjoyable activities, procrastination can hinder effective studying.

10. High Expectations: Whether self-imposed or from external sources like parents or educators, lofty expectations can create undue pressure, making studying more about fear than genuine understanding.
11. Health concerns: Illness or accident can affect our lives or those of our loved ones at any time. Students could also be living with learning challenges including ADHD or Dyslexia.

In addressing these challenges, Enhance Training is equipped to offer resources and support. Your first point of contact can either be your trainer or by completing this form which is confidential and will be answered by our Learner Support Services (LSS) Case Managers.

LSS is a service offered to students studying with a South Australian Registered Training Organisation (RTO) to support students to succeed. This service is funded by the Government of South Australia, and the LSS Case Managers formulate individual plans specific to each student. Students are required to be referred, need to be studying a government-subsidised course and can be studying with any RTO. 

Learner Support Services is completely FREE! The service also offers post-study support for 4 months after completion which can help with transitioning to work or increasing work hours, employment support and future planning.
