Our Enhance Training team of administrators, trainers and assessors all gathered this morning at our training rooms in Welland to undertake the Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect (RRHAN - EC) course presented by Allyson Dutschke.

Enhance Training works with Allyson extensively as she helps to deliver our Safe Environments for Children and Young People, Through Their Eyes course. She is passionate about professional development and providing training for people who work and volunteer with Children.

"My passion is adult education and in particular, quality Vocational Education and Training (VET) which provides positive outcomes for students." Allyson Dutschke

Allyson is a highly engaging trainer who promotes participation within her classes which helps people to gain practical understanding of the course content.

RRHAN - EC training is a requirement for registered teachers in South Australia, a condition of employment for those working or volunteering schools or children's services settings and has been developed in collaboration between the Department for Education, Catholic Education South Australia and the Association of Independent Schools of South Australia.

The course prepares participants to identify when and how to make a mandatory notification regarding suspicion and to recognise risk in a child's life sharpening attention to signs. Participants will also be able to understand and describe the impacts of trauma and to understand how education and other organisations work together to protect children and young people.

Enhance Training is a member of The Hessel Group working within the community to provide support services to families including; Early Childhood Education, In-Home Care, Disability Support Services and a suite of Allied Health Services for our NDIS participants. Our organisation values the opportunity to provide professional development including the RRHAN - EC training which on this occasion will give our Enhance Training team further skills to support our students and the wider Hessel Group organisation.

We thank Allyson for delivering an informative and important training session which also ensures more people in our community are looking out for our precious children and their wellbeing.
