Due to an increase in business, Chess Removals Adelaide met with Hessel GTO to talk about taking on a Business Trainee to boost their administration team. Hessel Group's recruitment team launched a campaign to recruit a trainee to meet the needs of Chess and fit in with their passionate and dedicated team. They were looking for someone who is looking to grow their career and willing to learn many facets of the business from finance through to customer service.
Hessel GTO presented Chess with a number of candidates that matched their values and their business needs. They interviewed a few candidates but ultimately were very excited to offer Chelsea the opportunity to undertake her work place training with Chess. Chelsea then met with Hessel GTO Field Officer, Bernie Crafter and the traineeship commencement process began.
Bernie enrolled Chelsea into the Certificate III in Business BSB30120 with North East Vocational College (NEVC) and arranged for MEGT to administer and sign the training contract and the traineeship commenced.
Chelsea had experience in retail as well as some exposure to hair dressing but wasn't really sure what she wanted to do moving forward. The traineeship presented the ideal entry point that offers extensive support and encouragement as well as the opportunity to learn while you earn. The traineeship ran very smoothly with Chelsea having regular progress meetings with Bernie and her trainer, Rosalie from NEVC as well as Bernie communicating often with Chelsea's host employer at Chess, Paul Leaf-Milham.
12 months on, Chelsea has completed the traineeship and Chess have offered her a part time opportunity as part of their administration team. Within Chess, there are opportunities for Chelsea to further her skills and try other areas of the business including customer service that can see her quoting and selling to gain removals over other providers.
It has been a pleasure to witness Chelsea's personal and professional growth in her Business Administration position. Her kindness, compassion, dedication, and helpfulness are qualities that will undoubtedly contribute to her success in any role she undertakes.
Congratulations on this amazing achievement Chelsea and I wish you all the success, happiness and best of luck for your future endeavours 😊. — Bernie Crafter, Hessel GTO Field Officer
Congratulations Chelsea!
