And that's a wrap! Last month's School Holiday program was truly one for the books.

It was truly exciting to witness the laughter and sense of community that filled each workshop. The participant's smiles and their eagerness to engage in creative activities and exploration were a highlight of the program's positive impact. Music Therapist, Jarran, and Art Therapist, Neve, were thrilled to have provided a nurturing environment where young minds can explore their artistic potential while developing essential skills. 

Project Kaleidoscope Workshop

In Project Kaleidoscope, the participants embarked on a captivating journey inspired by the works of visionary artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser. The communal art mural, "My Creative Adventure Landscape," showcased their unique expressions of a jungle adventure and fostered a sense of unity between strangers who became fast friends. The therapeutic benefits of this activity were evident in the calmness and emotional well-being displayed by the participants, combined with the beautiful and collaborative mural and video.

The Creative Minds Workshop, tailored for pre-teens and teens, delved into the crucial topics of digital creativity, privacy, and identity. Through interactive sessions like music video production and clay model fingerprinting, participants gained a deeper understanding of their digital presence and the importance of maintaining a healthy relationship with technology. The collaborative creation of a song and music video served as a powerful testament to their creativity and teamwork.
